John Fogerty


John is Head of Learning and Development at PAR Training. He also holds the positions of Non-Executive Director at IMI, the leading awarding body for the retail motor industry and Lead Commercial Training Consultant for Bosch Automotive Service Solutions.


John is a highly respected training professional. With an exceptional business development and training career including AON, he has extensive experience of creating and delivering high impact, professional training programmes and qualifications. John has successfully trained thousands of people across seventeen countries throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has designed and delivered programmes for some of the world’s biggest corporations and currently works with several manufacturers and prominent retail groups. In 2008 the IMI’s Patron, HRH Prince Michael of Kent, presented him with the highly commended ‘Outstanding Achievers Award’ and in 2010 his work was recognised by the National Training Awards, the UK’s most prestigious award for training and development. Today, John’s training is at the forefront of personal and business change achievement. His exceptional motivational approaches make him an ideal trainer, coach and working partner.


Qualified to Masters level, he is an Advanced Trainer Professional, a sales and customer satisfaction Assessor and Internal Verifier, a Licensed Business Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Richard Sargent


Richard started his career in manufacturing and then moved into the financial services industry where he gained professional qualifications in investment management and personal finance sales.


He spent 8 years at AON within their automotive division as a business development specialist in the sales, consumer finance and leasing sectors and through a series of promotions he held the roles of: Account Manager, Senior District Manager, Training Manager and finally Training Director.


Through the combination of interaction, use of simulations and case studies, Richard delivers training, specialising in the areas of Sales Process, Customer Service and Management development. He covers a wide scope of topic areas yet his approach is always extremely practical and stimulating for course participants.


With years of demanding front line sales and managerial experience together with his continuing high profile assignments, Richard has developed a highly pragmatic approach to training. Currently he works with PAR’s blue chip clients across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
